I've been in travel for just over 20 years now, and I've been fortunate to travel all over the world. I started my career studying Business, Travel & Tourism, before, spending 6 seasons as a Holiday Rep in Kos, Cyprus, Tenerife, Costa Dorada, Lanzarote & Menorca.
Upon returning to the UK I've worked with a range of travel companies, such as Titan Tours, Saga Holidays, First Choice, Thomas Cook, STA Travel & Inside Japan Tours before setting up my own independent agency. I started off as a Travel Consultant before quickly moving into Team Management roles in call centres before moving into Retail as a Store Manager. I've also been very lucky to work in the USA as a Sales Director for a leading travel firm.
I formed Platinum World Travel as I wanted to bring a local independent agency back into my local area, with emphasis on knowledge, quality and service. I want our store to be the heart of the community, with our clients feeling like they can pop in for a chat or coffee anytime to discuss their holiday requirements. When we moved to Gloucester, Matt and I decided to rebrand the business and RESFEBER was born.
